Just before everyone disperses for Thanksgiving break, our office through their annual holiday party. And everyone is expected to either make or bring something to eat to the gathering. This year Food City Bytes decided on the quick and simple (and tasty!) Spiced Pumpkin Bread.
Here’s the Spiced Pumpkin Bread Food City Bytes being prepared for the Office Holiday Party:

Above, if you’ll notice are shots of 2 different loafs. One is in an older bread pan Food City Bytes got that is of a different material and is not inherently non-stick. The second is prepared in a newer Teflon coated (we think?) bread pan that is of a thicker material that is supposed to conduct heat more evenly throughout the loaf while its baking.
Here is a shot of the bread from the first pan….which although the second loaf TASTED better, this first loaf and first pan was easier to pop the bread out of. ::hm:: Guess that non-stick coating does’t really help that much:

Nice crisp edges too!
