On Friday night, after enjoying dim sum at - – down in Chinatown, five of us went to join to Stonewall Cafe to take in the cabaret. The first time three of us had ever been there – I know, sacriledge – it had a great dj upstairs but sadly no cabaret! (Reports later filtered in that even those who stayed longer didn’t see any caberet. ::sigh:: )
Right outside the door to the Cafe was the Wafels & Binges of Belgium truck! Something of a phantom variation on the Treats Truck, I had always heard about the Wafels & Binges truck but never gotten a chance to partake.
Aimee & I stopped by the Wafels & Binges of Belgium truck on Christopher Street. This is John, he’s from Indiana. And he is an aspiring actor, as well as current waffle-teer, and Starbucks-wroker-bee. I think he’s definitely got a future in acting…. I mean seriously, when I asked him if I could take a picture of the WAFFLE he hosted said waffle up in all its strawberry and whip cream glory and struck a pose! What an actor.
