Shrimp Scampi is incredibly easy to make and relatively inexpensive. Mine I improvised a little and made it with a different type of pasta than the recipe suggested and it turned out well. The first time I made this dish was also the first time I used pasta not made by either Barillo or other grocery store ready brand.
Simply saute the shrimp on olive oil for about 2 minutes per side, cook the pasta and then add tomatoes, fresh basil and garlic to the saute dish, combine and serve.
